A BUSSID livery is a visual skin applied to a compatible vehicle. It is different from a full vehicle mod: a PNG or JPG livery normally will not create a new bus in Garage by itself. You first need the correct vehicle/body, then apply the matching livery image.
Before you start
Confirm that the livery was designed for the vehicle body you plan to use. A skin made for one Jetbus or SHD template can have windows, lights and logos in the wrong place on another body. Keep the original image resolution where possible; repeatedly saving or screenshotting a livery can reduce quality.
Step 1: Save the livery image
Download the creator-provided PNG or JPG image to a folder that your Gallery or file picker can access. If it arrives inside a ZIP archive, extract the image first. Do not rename an archive to .png or .jpg.
Step 2: Open the correct vehicle in Garage
Launch BUSSID and select the bus/vehicle body for which the livery was made. If the vehicle itself is a mod, make sure that mod is already working before troubleshooting the skin.
Step 3: Open the paint/livery option
Use the Garage paint or palette control, then choose the option to browse/import a livery from your device. The wording can vary between BUSSID versions, but the goal is to choose the saved image from local storage.
Step 4: Preview before applying
Check the preview carefully. If windows, doors or logos are badly misaligned, the image probably belongs to a different body template. Applying it anyway will not fix the alignment.
Common livery problems
The image looks blurry
Use the original creator image rather than a compressed screenshot from social media. Messaging apps can reduce resolution automatically.
The skin is upside down or shifted
This usually indicates the wrong template/body rather than a broken game. Confirm the exact vehicle model named by the creator.
The image is not visible in the file picker
Move it to a standard Pictures/Downloads location and confirm the file is a valid PNG or JPG. Android permissions can affect which folders the picker can see.
BUSSID crashes when applying the livery
Try the vehicle without the livery first. If the vehicle works, use a fresh copy of the original image and check that your device has free storage. Extremely large or corrupted images can cause problems on lower-memory devices.
Keep creator credits with custom liveries
If you share screenshots or a modified version of a livery, preserve the creator credit where the creator’s license or community rules require it. Do not remove watermarks or present another creator’s artwork as your own.
